DIRECTIONS: While wearing proper personal protecive equipment simply spray product on rag then wipe off overspray area. Product can also be poured into Coat It spray equpment to clean equpment out.

  • Keep container tightly closed. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment.
  • Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment.
  • Use only non-sparking tools.

  • Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray.
  • Wash hands and other exposed areas thoroughly after handling.
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
  • Use only outdoors or
    in a well-ventilated area.
  • Wear protective gloves/eye protection/
    face protection.
  1. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor
    if you feel unwell.
  2. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water and mild soap. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
  3. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
  4. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
  5. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell.

If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. In case of fire: Use carbon dioxide to extinguish. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. INSTRUCTIONS:

  2. Before and during application, ensure that the unit is turned off, and remove the filtration media. Cover any necessary parts of the system, such as fan motors and sensors, with a tarpaulin or plastic sheeting if needed. Note: It is best to dispose of and replace air filters when cleaning and treating the air handling system to avoid contamination of the cleaned components downstream of the filters.
  3. Using a coil cleaner (we recommend Vapco’s Quad Power), remove any visible debris before application.
  4. Start appli- cation from the top of the coil, spraying directly onto the coil where needeed. Apply two spray passes to each side of the coil running parallel with fins. Allow each pass to dry before the next one. Do not over-apply on any pass.
  5. To achieve effective surface coverage, maintain a uniform distance from the coil (six to eight inches) during application. Apply the treat- ment to both sides of the coils, including the end plates and tube bends/ends wherever possible.
  6. The cured product’s final appearance may vary from translucent light blue to a darker color, depending on the type, state, and condition of the aluminum fins.
  7. After application, clean any overspray or equipment immediately.
  8. To ensure optimal performance of the coating, wait until the surface is dry before turning on the system. The cure time will depend on environmental factors, typically taking 4-6 hours.
  9. For optimal performance, wait until the product is dry before turning on the system.

  2. Decant into Airless spray gun/applicator.
    An electric airless spray gun such as a Wagner W180P, Flexio 585, an industrial unit with a variable pressure airless system or equivalent. (For spraying of micro-channel coils an Atomex HSP-10 is a better option as penetration is increased).
  3. Start applying from the top, spraying parallel to the coils
  4. Spray directly onto the coil and covering the entire surface, paying special attention to end plates and tube ends/elbows.
  5. Apply two spray passes for each side of the coil.
    Allow each pass to partially dry before subsequent passes. Do not over-apply on any pass.
  6. Maintain a uniform distance from the coil (four to six inches) to achieve effective surface coverage. Apply treatment to both sides of the coils wherever possible.
  7. Ensure that the product is applied to coil end plates and tube bends/ends.
    The final appearance of the cured product can vary from translucent light blue to a darker color, depending on the type, state, and condition of the aluminum fins.

Cleanup:

  • Clean any over spray, equipment, etc. immediately after application with Vapco’s Coat It Clean Up.

For optimal performance, it’s important that condensing water does not wet the coated surface.
